At Mindful Tech Lessons, our mission is to support families, educators, and school communities in raising healthy and happy children who thrive in today's digital world. We provide practical tools, relatable strategies, and valuable resources to empower you to create healthy habits at home.
Beyond navigating the digital landscape, we're deeply passionate about helping children become lifelong readers and learners. We know the joy and benefits of reading, and that's why we weave in simple, effective strategies to build a family reading culture. We'll introduce you to engaging titles on a variety of topics in addition to fantastic reads that explore themes relevant to healthy tech use, all while developing a love for learning that extends far beyond the screen.
"I'm committed to this mission because too much has changed too fast. When I first started teaching, children would look up at me with bright eyes and say they wanted to be veterinarians because they loved animals, teachers because they loved helping kids, or athletes because they loved playing sports. Today, the most common answer I hear is, 'I want to be a YouTuber' or 'an influencer' and they no longer tell me why.
When did our children stop dreaming for themselves and start living for strangers?"
~ Jill Anderson
