This project is a passion I've been cultivating for over 20 years. It began with my master's thesis research, where I explored children's time outside of school and was concerned about the early wave of video game obsession, before online gaming even existed! This topic became a true passion once I had my own children, and I've maintained this critical lens throughout my nearly two-decade-long career in education.
As a teacher and a mom to a 3rd grader and a Kindergartner (plus two rescue pups!), I'm navigating the journey of parenting and teaching in a digital world right alongside you. My professional background spans nearly 20 years, teaching Kindergarten through 6th grade in New York City and Westchester, New York. I hold a B.A. in Psychology & Special Education and an M.A. in Educational Psychology from Marist University.
My diverse experience includes serving in a variety of roles:
Educational Leadership & Curriculum Design
Community & Student Enrichment
Global & Non-Profit Engagement
Today, I'm more committed than ever to empowering all families as we raise children in this constantly changing digital landscape. My goal is to create a domino effect of positive change by sharing information and practical strategies. I hope you'll join me on this journey and feel empowered along the way!
